Gundersen Tri-County Independence Clinic to reopen on Sept. 6

After being closed for nearly four weeks, Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics has announced that the Independence Clinic will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

"We thank our patients for their loyalty and willingness to travel to Whitehall for their healthcare for the past few weeks," says Wanda Peters, clinic manager, Gundersen Tri-County Independence Clinic. "We look forward to returning to our Independence Clinic on Tuesday and providing our patients in the Independence area with their care close to home once again."

Heavy rain in Trempealeau County on Aug. 11 caused officials at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics to evacuate patients and staff from the Independence Clinic. Since then, patients who usually receive their care at the Independence Clinic have been traveling to the Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall Clinic.

Patients with questions can call the Gundersen Tri-County Independence Clinic at (715) 538-4355.
