Interpreters can assist you
We want to provide the best medical care for you and your family. You have the right to clear communication. We want you to understand your diagnosis, treatment and care plan. You have the right to work with a trained interpreter if you need one. You do not have to depend on friends or family to interpret for you.
We offer free interpreter service by phone for patients in all languages. Use this free service at any time, day or night. Interpreters keep your personal information confidential. At your request, we can arrange for an interpreter to be present when you are seen by a doctor, nurse or other staff.
If you need an interpreter, call our operators at (608) 782-7300 or (800) 362-9567 or the department where you would like to have your appointment. An interpreter will be provided for the call and for your appointment.
