Bio

Stephanie Randolph has served in the child abuse field for more than 10 years. She started her career as frontline staff of a residential treatment center and shelter in Minneapolis. Stephanie obtained her undergraduate degree from Concordia University-St. Paul in Minnesota and then went on to earn her master’s degree in counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. As a student and intern, she focused on working with children and families who had experienced trauma. She graduated in 2011 and began working as a Forensic Interviewer in Kansas City, Mo. This experience fostered a deep passion for a multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigations. In 2012, Stephanie joined the faculty for Missouri KidsFirst and trained professionals throughout the state of Missouri on the ChildFirst® Forensic Interviewing Protocol. Stephanie has also trained professionals and community members throughout the Kansas City area on the dynamics of abuse and how to best support children who disclose abuse. As Gundersen National Child Protection Training faculty, Stephanie continues to train MDT professionals on best practices in forensic interviewing. In her role as a Victim Assistance Specialist with the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, she provides support and resources to survivors of abuse and/or violence and to families who have a missing loved one.
