Running HOME for Jacob by the Numbers




Please join us on Saturday, October 13th for the 3rd annual Running HOME for Jacob. This is a day for community, hope and prevention as we strive to end child maltreatment in all forms. In addition to a children's race and a 5K run/walk, we will have many activities for children and families. This year we will be adding an 11K which will highlight each of the 11 for Jacob traits at every kilometer. All races will be chipped for time and medals will be awarded for the 11K and the Kid’s Mile Run. HOME stands for Hope for Our Missing and Exploited and extends to all those missing and exploited. Our goal is to raise awareness to the issues of safety, prevention and a unified goal to create a world where kids can grow up safe!

I registered, but was unable to attend. How can I get my tshirt and packet?

Please call (651) 714-4673 or email the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center to schedule a time to pick up your packet and tshirt.

I registered as a virtual runner. When will I receive my tshirt?

Tshirts for virtual runners will be mailed out by November 7, 2018.

Can we bring strollers?


Can we bring pets?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the run/walk event, we cannot allow pets on site.

Do children need to register?

A child must register if they wish to participate in the 1 mile children’s race. Children in strollers do not need to be registered.

Are there teams?

Yes, team registration is now available!

Will parking be available?

Yes! Please click here for more information regarding shuttles and parking.

Can I pick up someone else’s packet?

Yes. Pre-race packet pickup will be held at the JWRC office the Thursday and Friday prior to the event.

It’s after Oct. 3rd, can I still register?

Absolutely! Registration is open until the first race starts on the Morning of Oct 13th, 2018.

What if I can’t attend the event, but would still like to make a donation?

What is my registration fee used for?

A small portion of registration fees cover the costs of the event (T-shirts and event insurance). The majority of the registration fee helps us educate communities on how to end child maltreatment through prevention, education, and advocacy. See the work your generosity supports.
