Please join us on Saturday, October 21st for the 2nd annual Running HOME for Jacob 5K. Jacob’s abduction date is a day that holds our pain when we think about Jacob. We would like this day to become a day of community, hope and prevention. In addition to a Children's race and a 5K run/walk, we will have many activities for children and families to participate in. HOME: Hope for Our Missing and Exploited extends to all those missing and exploited. Our goal is to raise awareness to the issues of safety, prevention and a unified purpose to create a world where kids can grow up safe!

FAQs

I registered, but was unable to attend. How can I get my tshirt and packet?

Please call ((651) 714-4673) or email the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center to schedule a time to pick up your packet and tshirt.

I registered on race day. When will I receive my tshirt?

Tshirts for race day registrations will be mailed out by November 7, 2016.

I registered as a virtual runner. When will I receive my tshirt?

Tshirts for virtual runners will be mailed out by November 7, 2017.

Can we bring strollers?

Yes

Can we bring pets?

No (pets are great, but not in running races)

Do children need to register?

There is a Kids Run where children can register and receive a t-shirt and a medal (children in a stroller do not need to register)

Are there teams?

Yes, team registration is now available!

Is there parking?

We expect the limited parking spaces at Lake Phalen Regional Park to fill up. Please click here for more information regarding shuttles and parking.

Can I pick up someone else’s packet?

Due to insurance requirements, all runners must pick up their own packet with the exception being minor children.

It’s after Oct. 3rd, can I still register?

Yes, we’d love to see you there! However, we cannot guarantee a tshirt for those who register after October 3rd. There will be a limited number of shirts available after that date.

What if my tshirt does not fit?

We unfortunately do not have the ability to exchange sizes as we ordered based on what you submitted for a size.

Where can I make a donation?

You can visit our registration/tshirt pick up area or make a gift online.

What is my registration fee used for?

The fee covers the cost of the shirt, event insurance, and minimal expenses for holding the run. However, due to an exciting number of participants we will be able to provide a lot of education to children and adults with the dollars raised!

What happens if I get hurt during the run?

Twin Cities Orthopedics is on hand to provide medical care in our medical tent located just after the finish line. Staff at all mile markers will have a walkie talkie and be able to contact the medical transport team. In addition, an ambulance will be located on site.
