Where caring meets excellence for hospital patients
At some point in our lives, we will all have a loved one in the hospital. On Jan. 19, 2014, Gundersen Health System will open our new Hospital, the Legacy Building, for patient care.
What does the Legacy Building mean for people in the communities we serve? It means caring for the newborn baby who needs intensive care. It means providing the highest possible level of care for the father who needs emergency surgery so he can go home and see his children grow up. It means providing a more private healing environment for the grandmother who had knee replacement surgery, and her loved ones who want to stay close by. It means recruiting and retaining the best staff to provide that care.
The Legacy Building means providing a better place for our patients and their families to receive care for generations to come.
