A wellness coach is not:
During the first coaching session, the coach will collect background information and ask the client about what he or she is interested in changing. Then a personal wellness plan is designed and the coach and client develop goals for changing health behavior. The wellness coach and client will decide how often to meet and review progress.
Wellness coaching is like having a personal trainer; the difference is that personal training is for your body and wellness coaching is for changing your habits. Wellness coaches provide instruction and mentoring to their clients. Clients are held accountable for their choices, actions and behaviors. A wellness coach is a trained specialist in their area of expertise.
Pricing: The coach and the client will discuss how often to meet (in person, over the phone or through email) based on the client's schedule and preference. The cost is $1.15/minute.
