- Demonstrate the basic steps of working with ROTEM in the OR
- Analyze the anesthetic implications regarding patients taking new-to-the-market pharmaceuticals
- Explain the prevalence of emergence agitation and associated risk factors in pediatric patients
- Describe the advantages and limitations of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia in comparison to nerve stimulation and landmark palpation techniques
Intended Audience and Purpose: The target audience includes Anesthetists, Nurse Anesthetists, and any residents or students studying to become anesthesia providers. The purpose of this activity is to provide attendees with tools to improve patient safety, quality, and practice performance.
