Intended Audience: Psychologists, therapists, social workers and other behavioral health professionals. Intermediate to advanced level of instruction is appropriate for each session.
Accreditation: Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation Inc. is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation Inc. maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation Inc., provider # 1089, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this conference receive 4 continuing education credits.

Upon completion of this conference, the attendees should be able to:
- Identify and describe problems with therapy over the internet, social media issues and psychotherapy in cyberspace
- Recognize how to chart, take notes and retain mental health records properly
- Describe the ethical and legal ramifications of boundary violations
- Recognize how to prevent liability when terminating with a patient
- Prepare for death, disability and retirement
This session is approved for 4 CE/clock hours through your choice of APA or ASWB sponsorship. You must attend the full four-hour session and complete the evaluation to receive credit. Partial credit is not available for this conference.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be requested via email or phone prior to April 29, 2019. A refund minus a $25 administration fee will be issued. No refunds will be made after April 29, 2019.
If the 2019 Behavioral Medicine Spring Conference is postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of registration fees will be provided. Gundersen Medical Foundation Inc. will not be responsible for any related travel costs to the conference.
