Volunteering At Home
President Teddy Roosevelt once said, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." We can make a long-term difference in the health of our communities by using our available time, talents, and treasures right here at home.
Community involvement is important to being successful in life. It connects you to others and gives you a sense of pride in the place you call home. It not only gives you an identity but elicits a sense of personal responsibility. This is our community, this is our work to do.
Volunteers through Global Partners At-Home will engage with students, classrooms, and ultimately neighborhoods to promote health, foster resilience, and set up schools, kids and families for success.
