Thousands of tickets were sold for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® holiday basket raffle this year.
"Thank you to all staff who supported CMN Hospitals by purchasing tickets or donating their time and treasures to make these marvelous gift baskets. Thanks to your creative efforts, we raised an amazing $18,340," says Rena Cash. "All proceeds will go to help area children in the New Year."
Several Gundersen Health System departments graciously filled baskets with sweet treats, baking, relaxation, recreation, wellness, family fun, gift cards and even cash. Some departments donated more than one basket such as the Family Medicine Residency Clinic and Outpatient Pharmacies with four baskets each; Diagnostic Radiology, Pulmonary and Nephrology, and Health Unit Coordinators contributing two baskets each, and with an amazing 14 baskets, Revenue Cycle staff went above and beyond. The value of all 59 donated gifts baskets was over $14,100!
