Susanne has been my provider for 20+years and even though we moved out of the area, I still continue to drive to continue my care. Susanne is very knowledgeable about my health and women's health in general. She listens to me. Her excellent care is important to the Viroqua area.

It was very good

I encountered several people during my visit. The registration professional at check in was very kind and efficient. The medical assistant that took my height and weight was also very nice. Susanne was a wonderful doctor and I will definitely be continuing my care with her for any future appointments. She answered any questions I had without me even having to ask. She is very knowledgeable and professional. The lab tech that completed my bloodwork was quick and pleasant. Lastly, the checkout experience was also nice and I was already scheduled for my next year's physical. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

When I first called, I was told that there were no appointments available that day, but after hearing my symptoms there was a nurse that I was talking to that insisted and found me an appointment which I greatly appreciated because it sped up my healing tremendously and I thank the staff for doing that. I wish I remembered the nurse's name, but I really appreciated that. Thank you.

The lab technicians are excellent as well.

Grateful for medical staff at Gundersen

Dr. Mlsna was very professional, gave me alot of good information.

My only suggestion is that there be a couple more of the taller chairs in the waiting area. There is currently 1 chair of this type. It was being used. While waiting to be seen, a different elderly patient had to sit in a normal height chair and then was unable to stand up and get to his walker. He tried several times, rocking back and forth, but had to except the help offered by a bystander and Gundersen employee. The people assisting him were kind but he was a big man and visibly embarrassed to have to accept help. This type of situation shouldn't happen in a facility that provides care for elderly and disabled people. There should be at least 1 more tall chair but 2 more would be great.

Susanne knows how to care for her patients. She is always kind and willing to listen. Of all of the Gundersen providers I have dealt with she is the only one to offer the help I need. She doesn't cut you off and refer you elsewhere just to be done. I appreciate her greatly!

The staff was professional and comforting even though there is a great deal of stress associated with serving patients who are in need of rearranging their primary Doctor. Provider seemed overwhelmed with her workload due to staffing issues and Dr's leaving clinic. I have a good rapport with this provider but I certainly did not feel that I received a thorough wellness exam. It was hurried and certainly not complete with no breast or abdominal exam. I was not even asked to change into gown...exam was done with all of my clothing on. I am noticing a definite change in the care delivered by some providers. Thank you.

My surgical experience at VMH with a Gundersen surgeon went very well. I know that VMH and Gundersen work hard to provide "seamless care" in spite of being separate organizations. The communication to meet all my needs was excellent and I very much applaud all the staff involved in making this a great experience for me.
