Thank you to all! We always have a great experience at the Waukon Clinic! We see a pediatrician at Gundersen in La Crosse for yearly visits etc. but when it comes to urgent care needs such as strep, pink eye and other minor cases, we choose the Waukon clinic. Even though we only live a very short distance from the clinic in Prairie du Chien, most always they cannot assist with urgent care needs as they are very very busy and sometimes you as the patient are made to feel a burden to them if they do have an opening. It is not often, but when this has occurred, the Waukon clinic has almost always been able to assist getting us in and we are never made to feel as though we were a burden upon their already busy day. We are happy to go to the Urgent Care at Crossing Rivers, but being able to go to the clinic is a much better experience as the providers know and have cared for your child before. We are grateful to have the Waukon clinic and their staff!

Having severe knee pain and I hot an appointment right away.

We are new to working with this provider as she took over our family after our prior provider left. Time will allow a better assessment but I've liked our limited appointments with her so far. Nursing and other staff are very friendly to us at this facility also which is greatly appreciated.

Was not seen by Dr til almost 40 minutes past appt time

I am concerned about the Gundersen clinic at Waukon. I go there for my medical care. The VMH has changed to county wide now. I get the impression they are trying to slam Gundersen. It has been Gundersen that has carried VMH through these past years. It frustrates me because the newspaper said no Gundersen providers would be available in the hospital. I want my Gundersen provider to be there if I need to be hospitalized.

She... Raquel did a good job she... what knew what I had done in the past and looked up some things in the past for me for us, and she did a nice job and I always feel but she does, does the best job she can and she's very thorough. So I was very pleased with with her, I probably have more questions and then the time allows for to answer all my questions because it's every pain I ever had asked her about, you know, wonder about. So she doesn't have a good thorough job. Appreciate her. Thanks. Bye.

My child feels so comfortable with Raquel! She explains things on a level that a teen can understand and is receptive to questions. Highly recommend for any child, especially athletes.
