All four people in the room during the procedure worked as a team. I was kept informed of the progress and made as comfortable as possible. I left with information about what I should do at home to help the healing process. I liked being told about the procedure in advance.

The only thing I would say is that it is really hard to get an additional appointment. I had to wait for over 3 months just to get in to see her. She is a very compassionate provider and has been very informative about options to improve my situation.

Having spent many a day in the dental dept(old dental dept) it was refreshing to get into the new area. Dr Castro is also new to me. Very satisfied with her demeanor as well as her medical ability.

The new reception area on 5th is "wayyyy" too small, the check-in area is worse. There is only one check-in line for dental surgery and 2 or 3 lines for the other departments which had no one using it. There was an e-check in stand there which I used, but only with help from my friend, because I couldn't reach it from my wheelchair. I am not usually this negative but it was just poor!

The conversations between staff before my procedure were inappropriate. Also the staff were complaining about not being able to eat lunch. One staff member was was particularly cold, and seemed mechanical and did not care. The other staff member was warm and welcoming though.

Dr. Castro was very kind and I feel very secure in the surgery she will be doing in taking out two roots.
