My experience with Dr. Davis was one of the best I have ever had. He was clear and decisive in his recommendation, open to answering my questions, and just a delight to be with.

Everything went great

Dr. Davis was thorough and straightforward when explaining my surgery and expected outcomes. Unlike most other providers at Gundersen, it was easy to get an appointment with Dr. Davis.

Dr. Davis was very professional and provided me with a diagnosis that was not diagnosed before. The MRI showed a broken back bone that wasn't visible on a CT scan and wasn't seen prior. The diagnosis gave me a better option versus a full disc removal and joint fusion as was first diagnosed.

Dr Davis, was informative and empathetic about what my return to work would/could look like after my surgery. I find him easy to talk to and feel he really cares about me. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr Davis was very easy to talk to. He answered all my questions , put me at ease.

Dr. Davis is a wonderful surgeon who thoroughly answered all my questions concerning my spinal fusion surgery in detail. He is easy to talk to and is very caring. I totally trust him and have recommended him to friends who are seeking a neurosurgeon.

Dr Davis is awesome and I have seen him before. He has helped my sister and myself and not only have recommended him in the past but will continue to do so in the future. Wish I could have gotten an appointment sooner. I was told when first called for an appointment that I would be triaged and they would call me back with an appointment time. After 2 weeks without hearing from them, I had to call them requesting an appointment.

I was so confident in Dr Davis and his knowledge and experience that I specifically asked for an appointment with him. He has treated me previously and I was extremely satisfied with his treatment. He was able to achieve what I was hoping for and that is why I asked to see him again. He is very honest and his opinion is valuable as gold to me. I was hoping for a fix for my condition, and he gave me advice that I was not expecting. I value that advice, even though it takes me out of the possibility of a fix for the pain I am experiencing, but it will keep me from a surgery that cannot be reversed or starting me on a road to a life that will be limited for the rest of my life. Again, I would tell everybody about him and his skills. I think of him like I think of my PCP. I also enjoy talking with him about experiences outside of his medical profession. He is quite possibly the best surgeon I have ever had to be treated by. And, I don't hesitate to ask questions or make another appointment with him about my conditions. Gundersen Health, if they don't already know, has an invaluable doctor and should do everything possible to keep him employed with them for as long as possible.

How about something like did everyone treat you with respect rather than a unique person

it feels so good to finally have doctors who listen to me and take me and my care seriously. i wish I could have received that kind of treatment sooner.

Although I did not receive the news I was hoping for, I did receive the news that I was expecting. Dr Davis did his best to make me feel like I understood the information and knew what I should expect to happen next. He was straightforward and honest about the treatment and I left feeling that I was ready to move forward.

Dr. Davis is the most compassionate Doctor. He wasn't able to give me the answers that I wanted to hear because it just wasn't medically possible. However he reassured me that I wasn't alone with my problems and told me he was sorry he couldn't change things. So even though I have to continue with the chronic pain he at least made me feel better about; at least I know it's no "all in my head"

Somewhere along the line my paperwork and test results got misplaced within the system. Call back time to me was more lengthy than usual. A call from me to Gundersen finally got me results. Has never happened before and when talking to staff all we're concerned and helpful.

The third floor bathrooms in the East Building are used very heavily and are never clean. They need to be cleaned much, much more regularly as having dirty bathrooms does not speak well of any health institution.

Dr Davis answered my questions and my husband's. He took the time to show us the MRI and exactly where my lesion is. Very respectful and pleasant. Listened to our concerns and ended our worries. Really liked him.

Dr. Jerry Davis is a great surgeon!! He made me feel very confident and well taken care of. My surgery has been a success and I am on my way to a full recovery. He explained my restrictions and how important it is to live by those restrictions so I can have a full recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Davis.

I had little confidence in my treatment plan after seeing the first neurosurgeon. The wait time for procedures in the pain clinic is unexceptable. My appointment with Dr Davis went very well. I now have the treatment plan that should have been taken the first time.

Doctor was very reassuring and knowledgeable. He explained the options available in a relaxed manner that put me at ease.

Even though Dr Davis couldn't help me at this time, he explained why. He was very good at answering my questions. I would recommend him to anyone. And I hope I will be seeing him in the future.
