Humera Ahmad was raised in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Her clinical interests lie in general and colorectal surgery. She plans to establish practice in a community setting in the Midwest as well as participate in international mission trips. She enjoys the camaraderie among residents and staff at Gundersen as well as the early operative experience and diverse elective rotations that are available. In her free time she enjoys traveling, baking, kayaking, paddle boarding and spending time with friends and family.
