Personal Interests

Brendon grew up in northern Maine. He completed most of his education on the east coast before relocating to Wisconsin for residency, where he couples-matched with wife (Angela), who is a family medicine resident. Angela and Brendon were blessed with a son (Levi) shortly after starting residency. They hope to practice broad-spectrum surgery and family medicine in low-resource, international settings after finishing.

When it comes to the Gundersen general surgery residency, Brendon appreciates the emphasis placed on education, the camaraderie among the residents and staff, and opportunities to participate in cases from multiple surgical sub-specialties. When not in the hospital, Brendon uses his time to stay active, play hockey, be involved at his church, and spend time with his wife, son, and family.
