Ovulation induction

When a woman's evaluation reveals a problem with egg production, ovulation induction may be used to stimulate the ovaries to produce eggs. There are different medications that may help you ovulate. The best medication is chosen for your specific problem.

We use ultrasound to monitor your response to ovulation inducing medications. Pregnancy rates with ovulation induction vary widely depending on the situation.

Ovulation induction can be expanded into controlled ovarian hyperstimulation when the production of more than one egg is desired. This treatment must be carefully controlled and monitored in order to keep the risk of a multiple birth pregnancy low.
