NAPBC Accreditation

The Gundersen Norma J. Vinger Center for Breast Care is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). The NAPBC was established to identify and recognize centers providing quality care to patients with diseases of the breast.

To be accredited, a breast center must meet or exceed quality standards established by the NAPBC.  Each center accredited by the NAPBC has to go through a rigorous application process and onsite survey.

Centers that have received the NAPBC accreditation are among the leaders in the field of breast care and have demonstrated a commitment to quality. To learn more about the accreditation,  visit the NAPBC Web site.
