Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Clinics

Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics has an immediate opening for a part-time (64 hours bi-weekly with full benefits) Certified Medical Assistant in our Clinics. Responsibilities include rooming patients for providers, phlebotomy, preparation of lab samples, performing EKGs. Must be willing to work at all of the Gundersen Boscobel Clinics (Boscobel, Fennimore, Muscoda) and be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program. CPR certification required; familiarity with EPIC preferred.

CFO

Gundersen Health System is looking for a Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for their Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics. We are a dynamic healthcare organization anchored by a large, multi-specialty integrated practice, Level II trauma center and teaching hospital, employing over 7,000 employees.

The CFO will supervise the finance units of general accounting and revenue cycle and is the chief financial spokesperson for Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics. The CFO directly assists the organization on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to finance management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting and capital needs. The CFO is also responsible for developing and reporting on metrics tied to that strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of financial control systems designed to manage assets and report accurate financial results.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Required: 10+ years of experience in Accounting; 3 years of managerial experience

Desired: 10+ years of experience in Accounting; 5 years at a CPA form, 10 years within a Healthcare Integrated Delivery System, Physician Group Practice and/or Hospital, previous controllorship position

Director of Community Relations

Looking for a dynamic personality to direct our Foundation and Community Relations functions. Responsible for the ongoing success of our internal and external public relations activities, community and population health outreach and the coordination of new and existing business health relationships.

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or Communications or the equivalent in a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of project and people leadership experience.

This position requires a person that is outgoing and can demonstrate strong sales and development skills, along with excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

Family Medicine Physician

Gundersen Health System, based in La Crosse, Wis., is seeking a talented BC/BE Family Medicine Physician (no OB required) to join our team in Boscobel, Wisconsin. This is a well-established group of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, as well as a number of specialists who provide outreach services.

Responsibilities include providing acute, chronic and preventative care to a service population of approximately 10,000.
